 MOBILIZING BELIEVERS AND SERVING OUR COMMUNITY AS  ONE,

  OPERATING BEYOND DENOMINATIONS.

 

Please pray with us, “Lord we humbly come to you in prayer on behalf of those who are most vulnerable …for the safety, protection and welfare of all your people involved in this project…for those local residents who are especially dear to our hearts… for those who do not know you…that we may love and care for all Your people…Lord in Your Mercy Hear Our Prayer for we ask this in the name of Jesus Christ your son Amen.

(989) 845-2613, e-mail Sandie at oiam@chesaningtumc.org , or you are welcome to show up at Trinity United Methodist Church at 1629 W. Brady Road, Chesaning, Michigan,  to be assigned to the project of your choice, light  breakfast begins at 7:30 A.M.,

WHEN: Saturday, May 15th, 2010  

WHO Will Benefit:

We will be serving members of our community, but we will receive more than we give for our volunteering for this one day event.

START TIME:

We will become mobilized for this all day event that includes meals, starting with a commissioning service at 8:00.

You can help us in these ways:

  • Please prayerfully consider being involved.

  • Pray for and promote this project throughout your entire congregation.  I am certain that you will find that this local, one day of mission is truly a benefit to those who do the work as much as a benefit to our community.

  • PROJECTS:

Landscaping/Raking    Child Care   Food Preparation/Delivery

 Area Park Cleanup             Food Drive for CARE

       Healthy You Project  Puppet Ministry/Mini VBS

Home Repair Work            Window Washing

 Laundry Project                Scrapbooking Project

Random Acts of Kindness

 Work at Health Center/CAER   Tied Fleece lap blankets      

Sewing Project(w/sewing machines)

Tied fleece blankets for Cancer Patients

There are special projects reserved for area Youth groups.

WHERE: 

Most projects will take place within the Chesaning Village Limits.

Donations Needed: 

Coffee Cakes

Muffins

Home Made Cookies

Desserts that can be cut into serving size portions for our Community Evening Meal

Following the days work, New Wine Full Gospel Church, New Life Assembly of God, Chesaning Church of Christ, Church of the Nazerene, and Trinity UMC will serve an evening meal that is open to the community of Chesaning,  from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, at Trinity United Methodist Church.
